The North Dorset Methodist Circuit encompasses the heart of the Blackmore Vale in Dorset and a small part of south west Wiltshire. A beautiful part of the country steeped in the literary history of Thomas Hardy and William Barnes, visitors to Shaftesbury will recognise Gold Hill from the old Hovis TV adverts. Predominantly agricultural, rolling hills link the chapels and churches together.
