Hazelbury Bryan is a widespread village consisting of a number of small settlements in a mostly agricultural area. The nearest town is Sturminster Newton (5 miles). The population of the village is about 800 but is expanding with new housing. There is an Anglican Church in Droop, which is historically the centre of the village, a Primary School  & Pre-School, Village Hall, a Public House, a Social Club and a Recreation Ground which is used by the local football and cricket teams. There is also a small play area and a small shop/sub-Post Office .

The chapel at Hazelbury Bryan was built in 1863 (on this particular site) and serves a number of small settllements in the surrounding area. The worship area has been recently refurbished and the pews replaced with chairs adding flexibility to the Chapels use..

We are an active fellowship  of all ages and hold a variety of special events each year including a Spring Fayre, Carol Services and a special "do it yourself " Christmas Morning Celebration.

Our overall vision is to attract all age groups but particularly younger adults who will be able to carry on the active work within the Chapel and outreach into the community.
